Services
1. DAY CARE CENTER FOR ELDERLY PEOPLE
Since its establishment in March 1998 until today, the Foundation for Elderly Care has been offering, through the Day Care Center for Elderly People direct and free services to senior citizens. Day Care Center's members have the opportunity to get to know each other, communicate with people of the same age, and spend their free time in a friendly and encouraging environment. By participating in the activities of the Day Care Center, seniors perceive these as a "therapeutic means" that prevents feelings of uselessness, combats loneliness, and sometimes social rejection.
The Foundation has at its disposal a space of 92.45 sqm, part of the Parking building located in Cluj-Napoca, 8 Primăverii Street. Following Government Decision No. 1409 of November 22, 2022, regarding the recognition of the Foundation for Elderly Care as a Public Utility organization, and in accordance with Local Council Decision No. 588 of August 29, 2024, as well as the Handover Protocol No. 68/September 17, 2024, the Foundation receives the space free of charge for use throughout the duration of its activities aimed at improving the health status of the elderly population, by enhancing the medical and social services provided to them.
