Specific Objectives of the Project:
Developing the capacity of the applicant entity to provide social, medical,
socio-professional, and vocational training services suitable for the specific
needs of elderly persons in situations of dependency and/or at risk of social
exclusion through:
a) The Day Care Center for Elderly
Persons and
b) The Home Care Unit for Elderly
Persons,
with the aim of socio-professional integration. These specific objectives will be achieved through the acquisition of equipment, intangible assets, and consumable materials necessary for the development of Day Care Center for Elderly Persons and The Home Care Unit for Elderly Persons.
The specific objectives will also be accomplished by providing integrated social services to at least 101 elderly persons at the Day Care Center and at least 61 elderly persons at the Home Care Unit, contributing to the achievement of the project's result (4S42) and output (4S47) indicators under the POCU project.
The POCU/436/4/4/126647 project contributes to fulfilling the measures of three strategic objectives:
- Extending and improving the quality of life of elderly persons
- Promoting active and dignified social participation of elderly persons
- Ensuring a high level of independence and safety for elderly persons requiring long-term care

Project Relevance: The project provides for elderly persons the opportunity "to have equal opportunities to participate in society, to be appreciated and valued, to live with dignity, and to have their basic needs met."
According to the Final On-Site Visit Report, the verification team's conclusions were:
- Activities were implemented according to the planned schedule, and the results committed in the Funding Application were achieved during the project implementation period.
- The activity results were achieved at 100%.
- The degree of achievement of project-level indicators (overall) is 100%. No financial corrections were necessary.
